The Regency of Bangli


    The Regency of Bangli
Bangli regency which is located in the middle of Bali, at an altitude of 500-1.600 m above sea level. It has three mountains, namely Gunung Batur (1717 m) and Gunung penulisan (1745 m). the population is 123.793 sculs and are for the most part farmers. The regency of Bangli produces many vegetables and fruits.

The capital of the regency is Bangli. Around there are many ancient ruins like temples, castles etc. The air is fresh due to its location in the mountains.


    1. Gunung Batur


A still active volcano with a lake called danau Batur on its slope.surrounded by mountains areas with roads which seem as high as the mountains and connect it to other regions. Gunung Batur with trace of lava on its slopes is a most impressive sight.

    1. Pura Kehen


Pura Kehen is the biggest temple on the regency of Bangli. During the Odalan ceremony (on Wenesday Kliwon, uku Sintha) adat dances are performed in this ancient temple, 42 km from Denpasar.


    1. Trunyan (Kintamani)


An ancient village on the shore of Batur, Truyan has different adapt customs from the other region in Bali. About80 km from Denpasar, it often attracts the attention of researchers or ethnologists and other scientists


    1. Bukit Demulih


Abeautiful hilly *(bukit = hill) region, 42 km from Denpasar, with fresh invigorating air.


    1. The village of Kintamani


A village located in the beautiful mountain area around grandiose temples like Pura Batur, and Pura Penulisan, 67 km from Denpasar. There are some inns / bungalows here. The village of Kintamani is famous for magic religions dance called Sanghyang Dedari where two young girl dancing on charcoals while in trance.


    1. Bubung Buahan


Famous for its beautiful scenery with the lake of Batur and mountains high into the sky and a southern view stretching to the sea, Bubung is 65 km from Denpasar.


    1. Pura Pusar Jagat


A big temple found in the village of Truyan with ancient big statue 80 km from Denpasar.
