If you know Bali from a distance, either from stories of impressions from friends who visited the island you still can’t know it until you have seen it by yourself. Do you know that Bali is part of Indonesia? Many people indeed know Bali abroad but have never heard of Indonesia. So Bali is better known than Indonesia, why? Because since olden times Bali has been the pre – eminent place for sight-seeing for tourists from all part of the world. And not all those tourists who went to Bali had the time to visit the other adjacent regions of Indonesia which are in no way less beautiful.

If you make a trip to Bali, you will certainly be attracted by its well known traditions and strong costumes. Bali was originally ruled by a king. The caste or levels in society are until this moment present and deeply rooted among the Balinese people, even though progress and democracy are gradually erasing the differences in castes. You will surely meet some person, whether your guide or any other person. Besides his name, your friend will indirectly also in from about his caste. According to their adat the Balinese society is divided into 4 castes, The BRAHMANA, whose functions in the lead in the religious field. The KSATRIA, which function in the governmental field. The king, the minister or punggawa the WEISIA, which functions was formerly in the field of trade of economy, and the 4th caste is the SUDERA caste, whish functions in the field of agricultural field. Many are no more using this caste system but there also some who are no more proud of this and still use it, or they just follow their parents.
